Until I finished University and started work most of my travel, with the exception of when I was in the Air Force, was in Canada usually by car.
My work in the Dominican Republic led to travel required to get there and also some vacation travel.
After I returned to Canada, traveling to various parts of the world by different methods was always our prime vacation project. While our children were still young we usually travelled in North America using either our car or a rented vehicle.
As the children became older we made various trips and cruises to many parts of the world. There were nine cruises and seven organized bus tours. I have visited all of the continents, including Antarctica. Nora accompanied me on most of this travel while she was able.
